Meet a New Kimmel Carter Team Member: Amy Handling

For the past several months, Legal Assistant (and the firm’s resident artist) Amy Handling has been supporting cases under Partner Jonathan O’Neill.

Speaking of her time at the firm so far, Amy says she enjoys attending in office-wide celebrations, and she is quick to comment on Kimmel Carter’s unusually friendly environment.

“The way this office gets together to honor staff members, do charity events, or just hang out has been a joy to witness, and I have never met a nicer group of individuals,” Amy says.

Before joining Kimmel Carter, Amy worked for a personal injury defense firm for 13 years. She says that working for the plaintiff’s side has been “an enlightening experience.”

“I feel like I’m doing some good,” she says.

Outside of her legal background, Amy has a degree in illustration and enjoys playing video games, attending concerts, and learning about Asian culture. She met her husband, a fellow gamer from New Zealand, online, and the couple hopes to one day retire in his home country.
