Wednesday, June 29 was a bittersweet day at Kimmel Carter as we all said goodbye to Paralegal Patti Accursi, who retired last week after nine years at the firm. Though we were all sad to see her go, the attorneys and staff had a blast celebrating Patti’s time at Kimmel Carter during a group lunch at Big Fish Grill on the Wilmington Riverfront.

Patti was brought in as a paralegal in 2008, after working at another Delaware firm. She quickly became a tremendous asset to the Kimmel Carter legal team, and a role model for new staff members.
For the past several years, Patti has worked under Partner Jon O’Neill. At the lunch, Jon, along with Partner Ed Carter, applauded Patti’s skill and hard work on behalf of the firm, presenting her with a special plaque to commemorate her years at Kimmel Carter. Patti also toasted the group, joking about the agonizing two months after her initial interview before she officially joined the firm.

Patti plans to use her time off to travel, to spend time with family, and, of course, to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee each morning.
Congratulations, Patti, you will be missed!
