Morton Kimmel and Edward Carter Named to The Best Lawyers in America List for 2016

This is the twentieth consecutive year that Edward Carter has been named to the list and the twelfth consecutive year that Morton Kimmel has been included. Edward Carter is listed in both the Personal Injury category and in the Workers’ Compensation – Claimant list.

Kimmel Carter’s Founding Partner, Morton Kimmel, has served on behalf of injury victims throughout the state of Delaware and the region for almost 50 years. With an impeccable track record of obtaining awards for clients, Mr. Kimmel has tried more than 100 cases and has experience arguing before the Supreme Court of Delaware and other appeals courts. He is a mediator for the Delaware Superior Court and the founder and former chair of the Blue-Gold All-Star Basketball Games, the primary annual fundraiser for Best Buddies Delaware and the culminating event in the Delaware high school basketball season. Mr. Kimmel also serves on boards for several other charitable organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and Cancer Care Connection, and he has been named to the Delaware Super Lawyers list along with Best Lawyers in America.

A graduate of Duke University and Widener University School of Law, Partner Edward Carter has over 30 years of experience fighting for the rights of clients injured in car accidents and work accidents. An accomplished litigator, he is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Torts and Insurance Committee and a former chair and current member of the Workers’ Compensation Section. Mr. Carter has also served on the Board of Governors for the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and he is the Delaware Delegate to the American Association for Justice and the Workers Injury Law Advocacy group. In 2014, Edward Carter received the Eagle of Justice award from the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association for a lifetime achievement in advancing and protecting the rights of Delaware citizens.
